Fresh Salsa from the Garden

Enjoying my first batch of fresh salsa from the garden tonight, along with a Cosmo, as I celebrate the last day of Summer Break. M returns to school tomorrow – as a Freshman in High School. Say whaaaaaaa?

My salsa recipe:

  • Pick as much from garden as possible.
  • Chop tomatoes, onions, jalapeños and cilantro into thick chunks and mix together.
  • Add black beans and corn (fresh or from can).
  • Add lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic salt and cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper to taste.
  • Enjoy!
